A Real Hip Cat
Chester Cheetah - One of my personal heroes. "In 1947, Harry "The Hipster" Gibson wrote the song "It Ain't Hep" about the switch from hep to hip':' Hey you know there's a lot of talk going around about this hip and hep jive. Lots of people are going around saying "hip." Lots of squares are coming out with "hep." Well the hipster is here to inform you what the jive is all about."

Hello Honey
“Honey is perhaps the oldest sweetener, regarded with almost mystical reverance, pilliative and restorative powers” - The Gourmet Atlas To my surprise the United States in only number 2 in Honey production. China is the leader by a long shot. Their tradition of using it for medicianl pruposes as well as a sweetener have always kept production high in “Zhonghua”. Leading Honey Producing Countries 1. China 2. The United States 3. Argentina 4. Turkey 5. Ukraine 6. Mexico 7. Russia I bought a bottle of honey shaped like a bear at Ecelsior’s Apple Days.

Lifetime
After my workout, I headed into the showers. Yesterday an attendant was busy spraying the showers with a soapy foam and then vacuuming it up with his big yellow Kaivac cart. I know the name because, surprisingly I do occasional research into the sanitary maintenance field. I usually grumble at machinery in the locker room (and I mean directly at the machinery). But after reading about the importance of keeping the health club very clean I really am pleased. This is not an ad... I wish their whirlpools were warmer. But I appreciate the bountiful supply of clean towels. I still can't tie one up properly to make a "towel skirt". Usually it falls off half way across the locker room. I have had good reason to leave other health clubs that just don’t keep up. Or in some cases they became half-way houses for the delinquent element. By the way, I do not belong to the Lifetime “Spa” pictured, but the I belong to other Lifetime Fitness Clubs. I cannot justify membership to the Spa, although it is close to my home.

In the Sumac
"Sumac is a very popular condiment in Turkey and Iran, where
the ground fruits are liberally sprinkled over rice. Mixed with freshly cut onions, it is frequently eaten as an appetizer.
The well-known Turkish fast
food specialty döner kebap is sometimes flavored with
sumac powder."
Frankly I never thought much about the sumac berries. One is to dazzled by the brilliant orange & red. I also did not know the name is sumeric, and means dark red.
