A letter sized, platic protected sign posted on a stake by the Excelsior Docks:

14ft. Thornes with 2003, 25HP short-shaft electric start Mercury outboard. The "59er" is a sceond generation boat. Bought new in 1959 by my father she has been sailing Lake Minnetonka for 46 summers. Cash reward for safe return."
