In the thick of it. the Shorewood wetlands.
I wandered, or should I say crawled, through the deep rushes and cattails and beds of flattened grass used by the deer as hammocks. The running water is minimal. In the end it was a bit dreary and my shots resembled tri-tones. The dogs found me irresistible when I returned, covered with cattail cotton and deer scent.
