Sumac for tea, ground for spice.
I walked along the Minnetonka trail and took photos of the brilliant orange and magenta sumac leaves, looking closer in, rather then across the Lake for subject matter.
Sumac for tea! It is supposed to have a lemony flavor. And who doesn’t like lemonade?
Frankly, I am doubtful.
I am going to give it a shot. I am also going to dry a few of the berries and also report back about the resulting mildly spicy ground sumac berries- or so they say.
Admittedly I am not Yule Gibbons, I am still going to give it a shot.
Looking farther out, the Lake has a few sailboats gliding in the distance. It is 60 degrees.
